Spanish wine from “La Manchuela”, located between the plain of La Mancha and the Serranía de Cuenca. A total of 72,000 hectares of vineyards planted 600 to 1,100 meters above sea level, with clay soils formed by limestone from river sediments. Abundant rainfall before the growing season and little rain from May to September prevents the risk of diseases and phytosanitary treatments, favoring a slow maturation and the perfect formation of polyphenols to produce an outstanding grape.
Macabeo, appreciated for its balance between acidity and sweetness, commonly used in Spanish cava. It is blended with sauvignon blanc for its rich, pungent aroma.
